3.1 - Examples for the Classroom

...it allowed us to scaffold the student learning experiences, and still let them work at their own pace. It brought together a range of online resources that might otherwise have required a teacher to lead students through.

- Neil Carmona-Vickery, Deputy Director of Monash Tech School

What are educators saying?

I’ve created review games, scavenger hunts, and icebreaker get to know you activities. But the most impactful use of Metaverse in my classroom is when I have students take control of the creating and use it to demonstrate their learning.

- Jhesi Howerton, MS Teacher

Students were really happy to feel they could own their learning process and receive playful, instant feedback of correct answers, collaborate to guess the meaning of key words or riddles, and to interact with scenery as characters appeared.

- CLIL Heroes Teacher’s Team

I love the idea of empowering students as content creators. With Metaverse, students can apply what they’ve learned in a shareable, interactive format

- Monica Burns, ClassTechTips

For educators, [AR tools] fall into two categories: those that offer a library of learning experiences and those that allow creation. I’ve found Metaverse to be the most robust — with the shortest learning curve — for creating augmented reality.

- Henno Kotze, Senior Teacher

I have created several experiences where students can review multiplication, division, paired tables, word problems, measurement and number lines!

- Yvonne Rodriguez, ES Teacher
