    • Contact EHS OST before working on sink traps, fume hood cup sinks, sewer/drain lines downstream of traps (including main branch lines in underground hallways), or vacuum lines as they may contain mercury.

    • Mercury from historical spills may be found

under floor tiles, at the base and behind cabinets,

in drawers, etc.

    • EHS will establish controls prior to performing

work.

• Do not leave an area if you suspect you have walked on a floor containing mercury beads. Call x6999 for assistance.
