About the Competition

  • 2025 is the 3rd year for the Wyoming Craft Brewers Cup in which brewers from all over Wyoming compete for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place as well as a Best in Show across 6 style categories.

  • Winners are also recognized for excellence in Community Stewardship.

​

  • Judging for beer awards takes place in August in Cheyenne, WY. The Awards ceremony will take place on the last day of the WYO Craft Brewers Summit in Sheridan, WY (Friday, September 12th)

Cooley Butler Memorial Community Stewardship Award

This award is presented to the WY brewery who exemplified the spirit of craft beer by engaging in meaningful ways with their community throughout the year. Each brewery submits an example of one of their community initiatives to be evaluated and voted on by their peers.

This award is in honor of our late friend and owner of Luminous Brewhouse, Cooley Butler, who built Luminous to be a community pillar and believed in the power of craft beer to create connection and the feeling of family
