Summer Activities for Incoming Second Graders
Hello! I am looking forward to having your child in second grade next year! The most important things you can do with your child to prepare them for second grade is read to them/with them at least 20 minutes a day, and to have conversations with them. Additionally, there are two required summer activities.
I would suggest completing 2 or 3 bingo activities and 2 Khan academy skills each week to prevent “summer slide” and to have your child ready and eager to learn when the school year starts!
Have a wonderful and blessed summer break!
