Fall Season Overview��

Early September – Mid-November (U8-U14)�Late October - Mid December (U15-U19)�

Games

• 8-game = 4 home / 4 away

• 6-game = 3 home / 3 away

• U8–U14 play Saturdays
• U15–U19 play Sundays�

Field Time Blocks: Ensure home field time slots account for:

1. Game length
2. Warm-up time (15–20 minutes)
3. Transition time between games (5–10 minutes)

Pre-Game Ritual

• Confirm game details (time, field, jersey color, referee fees, AED availability, etc.) with your opponent at least 2 days prior to the match.
• Use the Contact List on our website under Resources (Password: CJSLCLUBS)
• Check the League Schedule on GotSport to ensure all details are accurate and match your records.�

Game Day Routine

• Print 2 physical hard copies of the game day match card or team roster, one for the Referee and one for your opponent.
• Rosters must include photo IDs, player ID numbers, and jersey numbers. No handwritten players are allowed.
• Ensure any players playing up are added to the match day card before the game or have a copy of their younger team’s roster, that can serve as proof of ID for players playing up.
• Review game rules with the referee and opposing coach/manager (Ball size, goal size, etc.). Use the Game Standards of Play Card if needed.
• Exchange rosters with the opposing team.
• Pay the referee fees (refer to the Game Standards of Play Reference Card for fee amounts).
• As Home Team ensure AED is on Site�

Post-Game Reminders

• The winning team must report the score by Monday 9pm, any score entered after that time will incur a $25 Fee.
• If the game is tied, both teams must report the score.

Player Registration and Team Rosters in GotSport

Team & Player Registration – Key Steps

• Register Teams for league play or player carding events� ▪ Use registration links provided by the league� ▪ Club Admins can also register teams directly for events�
• Build Official Rosters in Roster Builder� ▪ Register for the correct carding event based on your league (2025/26 season)� ▪ Label teams/players by level:�
• CJSL = Travel� ▪ Assign players and staff to teams�
• Submit Player Approval to CJSL� ▪ Use the Player Verification Submission Form� ▪ Check approval status after submission�
• Complete Payment� ▪ Required before printing official rosters and player cards
