CEP GOALS FOR 2025-2026:� �
Priority 1:All students learn to read well
By June, 2026, literacy for all students will improve, as measured by a 10% increase, from 38% to 48%, of the percentage of students scoring at or above proficiency level 3 or 4 on the NYS ELA exam results.
By June, 2026, literacy for all students will improve, as measured by a 10% increase from 22% to 32% of percentage of students scoring at or above benchmark on the Acadience screener.
Priority 2 : All students are physically and emotionally safe
By June, 2026, the physical and mental wellness for All Students will improve, as measured by a decrease in A24 reporting in OORs from 55.7% to 50%.
Priority 3: All students have a high-quality academic experience
By June, 2026, the percentage of students scoring at or above proficiency levels 3 & 4 will Increase by 10% from 50% to 60%, for All Students, as measured by NYS Math Exam results.
Priority 4: All students graduate college and career ready and have a strong plan and pathway to economic security
By June, 2026, the percentage of students who complete a computer science, robotics or coding unit of study for All Students will Increase by 84.15 from .85% to 85 as measured by By June 2026, at least 85% of students in grades 4 and 5 will receive direct instructional exposure to computer science, robotics, or coding instruction through a meaningful unit of study that is integrated into the Amplify Science curriculum, as measured by STARS programming data.
Priority 5: All districts and schools are more inclusive and responsive for parents and families, including having more families choose NYC Public Schools
By June, 2026, the percentage of parents/families attending at least 3 in-person school events will Increase by 10% from 50% to 60% as measured by NYC School Survey Results.
Attendance Goal:
By June 2026, the percentage of Chronically Absent Students in grades PK and K will decrease by 5% from 50% to 45% and 43% to 38%, as measured by the New Visions Chronic Absenteeism Report.
High Quality Inclusive and Accessible Learning for Students with Disabilities Goals:
By June 2026, to strengthen the quality and implementation of IEPs for all SWDs, we will decrease the percentage of students not making progress towards one or more goals by 5%, from 10% to 5%, as measured by the SESIS Progress Towards Annual Goals report.
By June 2026, to strengthen the quality and implementation of IEPs for all SWDs, we will decrease the rate of initial referrals by 1.9% , from 4.3% to 2.4%, as measured by the Shared Path Dashboard.

2026-2027 CEP Goals
Priority 1:
By June 2027, literacy performance for all students scoring at or above proficiency, levels 3 & 4, will increase by 10% from TBD to TBD, as measured by the NYS ELA Test.
By June 2027, literacy performance for all students scoring at or above benchmark, will increase by 10% from 31% to 41%, as measured by the Acadience Screener.
Priority 2: By June 2027, math performance for all students scoring at or above proficiency, levels 3 & 4, will increase by 10% from TBD to TBD, as measured by the NYS Math Test.
Priority 3: Decrease the A24 reporting in OORs by 5% by implementing schoolwide systems and tier 2 supports to assist students in regulating their emotions and expressing themselves effectively.
Priority 4: Increase the percentage of students with activated NYC Kids RISE Save for College Program accounts in Kindergarten, Grade 3, and Grade 4 through targeted outreach, family engagement, and systematic monitoring.
Priority 5: YTD Attendance
By June 2027, the YTD attendance rate for all students will increase 5%, from 91 % to 96% as measured by the 26-27 SY New Visions YTD Attendance Report data.
Chronic Absenteeism
By June 2027, the chronic absenteeism rate for all students will decrease 5%, from 36 % to 31% as measured by the 26-27 SY New Visions Portal Chronic Absenteeism data.
2026-2027 CEP Goals
IEP Goals:
By June 2027, to strengthen the quality and implementation of IEPs for all SWDs, we will improve the percentage of IEP reviews showing alignment to present levels of performance, measurable annual goals, and recommended programs services by a 50% increase from 50% to 100%, as measured by IEP Review Question #49.
