CONCEPT
Basing off the lyrics, I would like to film a narrative for the music video.
Someone would be going through hard times, then they are out with their friends realising that they are happy and in a good place, having a good time enjoying their good days.
At the end of the video, to put a sign that mental health matters to help those that are struggling that good days will happen.
It’s a very basic storyline so that we can get creative with the shots of locations to make it look good.
CHARACTERS
We would have the main character who is in most shots.
We would have 2/3 other friends with him/ her.
They will be around the age of 16-20.
VISUALS
LOCATIONS
Places where friends can have a good day.
These places could be the beach, café, cinemas, ice rink, festivals, concerts.
We would need to ask for permission to film in these places.
EQUIPMENT
We would need a camera, camera batteries and camera lead.
Lights, light diffusers, colourful light diffusers.
Tripod, shoulder mount and maybe the dolly.
SD card, SD card reader and hardrive.
BUDGET
As low as possible.
Only thing we would spend money is getting to the places to film, maybe entry?
TARGET AUDIENCE
Not really a target audience, it is for anyone and everyone.
TIME FRAME
The full song which is approximately 4 minutes long.
WHY WE SHOULD MAKE IT
It is a positive song with a positive storyline.
It is to be hope for those that are struggling.
It is a basic idea so everyone in the group can put their ideas forward to develop it and make sure that everyone is included.
INSPIRATION
The music video is Macklemore and Kesha reminiscing on the good old days meaning they had already passed the good old days and are still living them.
However, my idea is different because it is friends currently having good days not reminiscing as shown in the music video, and it is different things they are doing; they are in a car where we would have different locations.
TEAM
The people are in my group are Grayson Boyes, Alfie Dobson and Oliver Johnson.
We would have some actors from the other class as cast, we would most likely run auditions for them to see who look more bonded with each other.
