  • CCFS-321 Apprenticeship Attendance Report
    • Student Accountability Model (SAM) Priority Code – A (Apprenticeship).
    • Program or stand-alone courses must have the approval by the CCCCO.
    • A DAS approved-registered apprenticeship program.
    • A request for RSI funding to be allocated for the next fiscal year needs to be submitted to the CCCCO in early December for a newly registered program/transferred registered program. Approval is required.
    • The funding is used to pay for instructional cost. It’s considered Fund-15 and can be managed by a department.
    • Courses sections are scheduled as positive attendance.
    • The RSI reimbursement rate per hour is $8.82 in 22-23 fiscal year.
    • It could be an additional source of funding for the Basic Aid districts

  • CCFS-320 Apportionment Attendance Report
    • Program or stand-alone courses must have the approval by the CCCCO.
    • Courses sections may be scheduled as Positive Attendance, Weekly Census, or Daily Census.
    • The reimbursement rate is higher.
    • Per AB 1809, attendance in apprenticeship courses reported on the 320 will be reimbursed through the regular apportionment funding system.
    • With a blended model in which apprentices and general students can participate in the same class and enroll in separate sections increases the class productivity and generates more FTES for apportionment districts.
