  • Welcome to Kindergarten Information Night (Virtual): April 28, 2021; 6:00 -7:00 p.m.

An information night, put on by Mrs. McDonald, to go over all details for the upcoming year.

  • Kindergarten Screening: May 24-26, 2021 by appointment only.

Students meet with educators at McGovern to be assessed for academic, physical, and social and emotional skills. This information helps us place students in well balanced classrooms.

  • Kindergarten Camp: July 12-16, 2021

This is an abbreviated Kindergarten experience in a summer setting. Kindergarten Camp Flyer

  • Kindergarten Classroom Placement Communication: August 13, 2021

A letter from Principal McDonald and also from your child’s Kindergarten teacher will be sent home.

  • McGovern Open-House: August 26, 2021; 9:00-11:00 a.m.

Families and Kindergarten students are invited to McGovern for a self guided, casual tour.

  • Kindergarten Playground Night (sponsored by the Medway Elementary Parent and Teacher Organization): August 18, 2021; 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. *Rain date August 25, 2021; 5:30-6:30 p.m.

This is an opportunity to meet new classmates on the playground.

  • Kindergarten Orientation: September 1, 2021; 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Families and Kindergarten students visit McGovern School, meet the teachers, and learn more about Kindergarten.

  • First Day Kindergarten: September 2, 2021
