Selector Panel:

To Use Projector Screen…

1. Press the "ON" button on the selector panel
2. Wait for the projector to warm up (~3 minutes)

To Display a Component…

• Press "PC" to use the computer in the podium
• Press "DOC CAM" to use the document camera
• Press "LAPTOP" to use a laptop or other device connected via the podium’s cables
• Press "DVD" to use the DVD Player in the podium
• Press "VCR" to use the VCR in the podium
2. If the screen shows "No Input" after turning on the component and pressing the appropriate selector button, select another input then reselect the desired component.

To Use Computer…

1. Press the power button on the computer
2. Turn on the monitor
3. If the mouse and keyboard aren't already out, unlock the drawer to find them
1. If the mouse battery is dead, put it in the charging cradle for ~15 minutes
2. If there is a wired mouse available, you can use that instead - if not, you can borrow one from the ATC
4. If you haven't already, press the "PC" button on the input selector panel display
5. When prompted to login, press Enter to use the default username with no password

To Use a Laptop (or other cable-connected device)...

1. Connect the device using the cables in the cable cubby, and plug in the device's power cord if desired
1. If the device does not have a VGA port, you will need to get an adapter
2. Several different types of adapters are available to borrow from the ATC
2. If you haven't already, press "LAPTOP" on the input selector panel
3. If necessary, select "external display" on your device

To contact the IT help desk for assistance, press the lit "Help Desk" button on the intercom panel

1. The "MIC ON" light will light up when you can talk

To Use AverMedia Doc Cam…

1. If you haven't already, press "DOC CAM" on the input selector panel
2. Unlock the podium door and pull out the tray
3. Bring up the camera arm and adjust the camera head
4. Press and hold the power button on the doc cam base for 5 seconds until it turns blue
5. For the overhead light, press the "lamp" button
6. For the under light, press the "light box" button on the right side

When done using an AverMedia doc cam:

1. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds until it turns yellow
2. Lower the arm
3. Push the tray back in
4. Close and lock the podium door

To Use Elmo Doc Cam…

1. If you haven't already, press "DOC CAM" on the input selector panel
2. Unlock the podium door and pull out the tray
3. Press the button at the bottom of the camera arm to unlock
4. Switch power On at right-rear
5. Select “Main” on Elmo Monitor Output
6. Select light source by pressing "Lamp" button

When done using an Elmo doc cam:

1. Switch power Off
2. Lower the arm
3. Push the tray back in
4. Close and lock the podium door

To Use DVD and VCR Player…

1. If you haven’t already, Turn on the projector.

2. Then turn on the DVD and VCR player by pressing the “DVD/VCR On/Off” button.

2. Next, press “DVD” if using a DVD and “VCR” for VCR.

3. Insert your DVD or VCR Cassette into the Player.

When done in the room…

1. Eject your media from the DVD player or VCR, if used.
2. Turn off any components used (PC, monitor, doc cam, etc), and stow away.
3. Unplug your laptop or any other connected device, if used.
4. Turn off the monitor, if used.
5. Press and hold "OFF" on the Selector Panel until the projector powers off.
6. Put wireless mouse in charging cradle in drawer, if used, and verify blue charging light comes on.
7. Close and lock podium drawer and cabinet door.
1. Verify projector has powered down before leaving the room (The “Off” button on the Selector Panel should be lit and not blinking).
