لان من سقاكم كاس ماء باسمي لانكم للمسيح فالحق اقول لكم انه لا يضيع اجره. ومن اعثر احد الصغار المؤمنين بي فخير له لو طوق عنقه بحجر رحى وطرح في البحر. وان اعثرتك يدك فاقطعها خير لك ان تدخل الحياة اقطع من ان تكون لك يدان وتمضي الى جهنم الى النار التي لا تطفا.

"For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward. " But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea. "If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched --.

حيث دودهم لا يموت و النار لا تطفا. لان كل واحد يملح بنار و كل ذبيحة تملح بملح. الملح جيد و لكن اذا صار الملح بلا ملوحة فبماذا تصلحونه ليكن لكم في انفسكم ملح و سالموا بعضكم بعضا (مر 9: 41-50)
