Dual Sport Athletes or Athletes w/Jobs

Athletes that are participating in Track and Field and a second sport (job/theater) will need to contact Coach Gysin to set up a plan that will work for them.

  • Generally expectations:
    • Need a copy of your schedule
    • Will be held to the same expectations as everyone else on the team
    • If a meet and game fall on the same day you will go to the primary sport event
    • Please look over the schedule and get work off on days that we have meets
    • Will discuss what practice will look like

16 of 23

Competition

  • The schedule has been posted on TeamApp or can be found here
  • Athletes must be at meets at the set time to perform the warm up exercises necessary for event competition. In general, athletes should be at the meet at least two hours before their events are scheduled to take place. Early events are the exception to the rule.
  • Transportation is not available for ANY meet. Athletes and their parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring the athlete is present at the meet.
  • Transportation is difficult for JV meets. This year we will have to rely on car pooling due to scheduling difficulties school busses because of staff shortages. Use Remind to help set up carpools.
