Record of oral presentations
In this tutorial you will find some previous recommendations and the steps to follow to record your oral presentation using Power Point.
The final file should be a video showing the slides and with your voice recorded.
It should be saved as .MP4 file with HD (960x720) resolution
and it should not exceed 100Mb.
En este tutorial encontrarán unas recomendaciones previas y los pasos a seguir para grabar su presentación oral usando Power Point.
El archivo final debe ser un video mostrando las diapositivas con la voz grabada.
Deberá ser guardado como .MP4, con resolución HD (960x720) y no superar los 100MB.

Open your presentation, head over to the “File” tab, and then select “Save As” in the left-hand panel.
Abrir la presentación, ir a la pestaña “Archivo” y seleccionar “Guardar como” en el panel izquierdo.
Select “Browse”, which will allow you to select where do you want to save your file, and click on “Tools”
Seleccionar “Examinar”, que te permitirá elegir dónde guardar el archivo, y después “Herramientas”.
In the drop-down menu that appears, select “Compress Pictures”
En el menú despegable, seleccionar “Comprimir imágenes”.
Select “Delete cropped areas of pictures” and “Web (150 ppi)”, then click on OK and save your file.
Seleccionar “Eliminar las áreas recortadas de las imágenes” y “Web (150 ppi)”, aceptar y guardar.

Cómo grabar la presentación en Power Point
Please, remind to reduce the file size before recording.
The final file should be a video of 10 - 12 minutes
showing the slides and with your voice recorded.
It should be saved as .MP4 file with HD (960x720) resolution
and it should not exceed 100MB.
Por favor, recuerda reducir el archivo antes de empezar la grabación.
El archivo final debe ser un video de 10 - 12 minutos
mostrando las diapositivas y con la voz grabada.
Deberá ser guardado como .MP4, con resolución HD (960x720) y no superar los 100MB.
To get ready to record, head over “Slide Show” tab and select “Record Slide Show”.
Abre la pestaña “Presentación de diapositivas” y selecciona “Grabar presentación con diapositivas”.
Click on “Record from Beginning” to start from the first slide.
Selecciona “Iniciar grabación desde el principio” para comenzar por la primera diapositiva.
Click on “Record” at the top left corner to start. You can also pause, stop and replay the recording. Selecciona “Grabar” en la esquina izquierda para comenzar. También podras pausar, parar y reproducir.
Only in Microsoft Office 365, you will also find your notes and be able to draw during the recording.
Solo en Microsoft Office 365, podrás ver tus notas y dibujar durante la grabación.
On the bottom left corner, you will find the time spend on each slide and the total time.
En la esquina inferior izquierda, encontrarás el tiempo transcurrido en cada diapositiva y el tiempo total.
To end your recording, select the square “Stop” button.
Para terminar la grabación, selecciona el botón “Detener”.
To check your recording, head over “Slide Show” tab and click “From the beginning”.
Para revisarla, abre la pestaña "Presentación de diapositivas” y selecciona “Desde el principio”.
If you want to start over again, head over “Slide Show” tab and click “Record Slide Show”. You will find the option to clear timing and narration.
Si quieres empezar de nuevo, abre "Presentación de diapositivas” y selecciona “Grabar presentación con diapositivas”. Encontrarás la opción para borrar intervalos y narración.
To save your file as video, head over to the “File” tab, and then select “Export” in the left-hand panel.
Para guardar como video, ir a la pestaña “Archivo” y seleccionar “Exportar” en el panel izquierdo.
Click on “Create a video”, select the quality and remind to use recording timing and narrations.
Click en “Crear video”, selecciona la calidad y recuerda usar los intervalos y la narración grabada.
Save as HD (960x720)
Guardar como HD (960x720)
Click on “Create video” and save. Remind to check the file type, it should be a .mp4 file.
Click en “Crear video” y guarda. Recuerda confirmar que el formato de archivo es .mp4.
Please, check that the video file plays correctly and that it does not exceed the 100Mb limit.
The video file should be sent to the contact email heritageconference2022@upv.es
It should be named following this structure:
Nº Paper_Author 1 Surname, Author 2 Surname (…) Author N Surname
Example: 145_Gonzalez, García, Smith, Johnson (All authors should be named)
Por favor, comprueba que el archivo de video se reproduce correctamente y que pesa menos de 100Mb.
El archivo de video deberá ser enviado a la dirección de contacto heritageconference2022@upv.es
Deberá ser nombrado siguiendo la siguiente estructura:
Nº ID_Apellido autor 1, apellido autor 2 (…) apellido autor N
Ejemplo: 14503_Gonzalez, García, Smith, Johnson (Deben aparecer todos los autores)
