The Swank K-12 Streaming library provides access to over 40,000 movies, documentaries and foreign language films for instructional support.

You now have access to a curated collection of top, educational films which are click-and-play ready in your streaming library. You are also able to search the entire library of films and request for new films be added.

These requests will either be approved or denied by your school’s Swank Administrator:

Setting up Your K-12 Streaming Account:

Click on the URL provided on the previous page & select ‘Create Instructor Account’

Once verified you should be immediately taken to the Swank K-12 Streaming library of films. If you are not immediately taken to the Swank streaming library, click on the URL provided and you should be able to log in.

Verify your email address by clicking the verification link found in your inbox. If this email is not in your inbox after setting up your account, please check your spam or junk folder

Complete your account profile including first name, last name, & password. Once you’ve accepted the Terms & Conditions, select ‘Register’

Register your school email & the following Self Registration Code: 171FB2F9

Please use your school/district provided email address as your login is based on your district email domain. If you are getting an invalid email error when setting up your account, either you are not using your district email or not all district emails have been allowed for in your streaming platform. If you think you are receiving this message in error, please contact the individual who provided you with this document to update your portal’s email domains.

Assigning Movies to Students:

Identify the movie you want to assign to students.

Select “Share: Copy Link” on the movie page

The website URL or any page URLs in the streaming platform should never be shared with students. They will receive an error message. Please only use the Share: Copy Link when enabling student access to movies.

Ensure the movie is already available in your streaming library for viewing.When clicking a movie, if you see “Watch” and “Share: Copy Link” buttons, the film is available.

If you see a “Request” button, you will need to request access and wait for approval from your Swank Administrator prior to assigning the film.

Learn how to assign and enable films to students for viewing outside of class.

Paste the link into whatever platform you intend to share with students and include the generic student username and password listed above for their log in.

Teacher login information should never be shared with students as you have different permissions than they do.
