Why address clean energy in Healthcare?

In 2019, the governor of Wisconsin set a goal that all electricity consumed in the state be one-hundred percent carbon-free by 2050.

  • The transition to a clean energy economy requires that facility operators in business and industry, including healthcare, have an understanding of how renewable energy can meet the electricity needs of their buildings.
  • The job market for people with knowledge of clean energy solutions is plentiful and wages are excellent.
  • Implementing clean energy ideas in facilities provides workers the opportunity to make a living while serving their community and helping Wisconsin meet its clean energy goal.
