Elementary School

Antarctica Project

  • During a Skype with Jean Pennycook, a scientist in Antarctica, students were able to ask questions developed during their research to an actual expert.
  • Students then created a PSA to help raise awareness about this issue

Middle School

Long Walk to Water

  • 7th grade students read A Long Walk to Water
  • We invited Water is Basic in as a guest to explain their mission to find sustainable solutions to water issues in South Sudan
  • A group of students felt empowered and wanted to do more. So began our awareness campaign. We raised enough for a well to give clean water to an entire village.
  • Water for South Sudan then Skyped our students to say THANK YOU and show how their work impacted a group of people.
