We can describe objects by their properties. Thing we know about objects by looking at them or feeling them are properties of the objects.
Matter: Vocabulary

Solids: an object with a fixed shape and volume.
Flexible: able to be bent or bend without breaking.
Smooth: Something smooth is free of roughness, or other imperfections that you can feel with your hands
Rough : having a broken, uneven, or bumpy surface
Rigid: incapable of or resistant to bending.
