“sh” are the letters making that sound?

What two letters do you see that might make the /sh/ sound? (s and h). All these words begin with the /sh/ sound and ‘sh’ are the first two letters in all of these words. ‘Sh’ must be the two letters making the /sh/ sound. How many sounds do you hear? (one). How many letters are making that one sound? (two). What do we call two letters that come together to make one sound? (digraph) Is this digraph a vowel or consonant digraph? (consonant) How do we code them? (underline them)
