Closing the clamp with only two fingers is best practice
At each bay you’ll find:
2.THE STAND: an ideal place to clamp - is the bike’s seatpost (above where this one pictured is clamped.) This one is clamped on the seat TUBE. Which is okay but not ideal. The clamp is adjustable! Use as little force as needed to secure the bike well.

Blue Bucket-metal recycling bin for any small items containing metal, including the cable housing!
Orange bucket - Landfill&Trash
White buckets - Single stream recycling; paper, cardboard, cans,
bottles,
etc...
4) Trash & Recycling:
This red sink is the parts washer with solvent tank below. Use: the heavy duty gloves and safety eyewear.
Please keep the parts washer closed when not in use
NOTE: **DO NOT USE the nitrile gloves! This will result in a chemical burn!!!
These are for light duty applications and are located below each work bay / bench.
Mops and brooms are also located here
The parts bins are color coded to reflect different parts of a bicycle: Red - drivetrain, Grey - hubs, Yellow - brakes, Blue- steering, Green - shifting, White - accessories. Prices are as marked
