‘Urbanisation ’

Urbanisation is the process of the increased amount of people moving from the countryside to towns and cities, and therefore towns and cities growing in size. There are several reasons why this happens, the main one being for the increased amount of jobs available and the potential of earning more money. However, there are also other opportunities that are more likely to be found in the city such as better quality housing, healthcare, education and entertainment.
