Vacation Brainstorm

  1. Transportation
    1. Will you fly? Drive? Cruise? Other?
    2. What time of year do you plan on traveling?
    3. Will you travel during the week/weekend? How might a job, spouse, or children affect this?
  2. Lodging
    • Hotel, motel, camping, Airbnb, etc?
  3. Food
    • Look at menus of places you would actually like to eat
    • Calculate the cost of a mea, including tip (20% is standard)
    • Multiply this across how many days you will travel
