My Project – Creating a Living Resource for PSY 3555

  • Lack of consistency from year to year reflects creativity and responsiveness of each year’s PF
  • How to provide a resource that can be useful each year without stymying each PF’s creativity and ability to adapt course as needed?
  • Create a living resource, organized by topic, to provide the chef/PF with ingredients/resources that allow them to structure the class as they see fit

Google Drive Folder – “How to Use”

“….This folder is intended to be a living resource – it is not an exhaustive compilation of resources, and nothing in here is sacrosanct. You can add to the existing folders, remove items or folders you don’t find helpful, and create new folders as you see fit. The basic idea is to imagine you are a chef and this Drive folder is your kitchen. It is reasonably well-stocked, but it doesn’t have everything – and you might want to make something that requires different ingredients or to try new recipes. As you cook up a full semester, think about who you are cooking for and what will nourish them, and keep the chef you will hand the kitchen off to next year in mind. Make sure you leave everything in good shape, share any new recipes that worked well, etc. (I will resist the temptation to extend the analogy any further – you get the idea ☺)…”
