Team Goals

To place 1-2-3 of course

To have a lower score than the other team.

To help your teammates get ahead of other boats.

3 Big Differences from Part 1 Racing Rules of Sailing

1. The Zone is 2 boat lengths

2. A penalty for a foul is one turn

3. Rule 18.4 is deleted. (She may sail as far from the mark as she wishes when an outside boat must give her room.) She might do that for the purpose of helping a teammate catch up.
