Plot

  • A 10-year-old boy with Treacher Collins Syndrome (a genetic disorder), called Auggie, has been homeschooled by his parents, but is about to go to a proper school.
  • His classmates must grow to learn how to look behind the surface, and Auggie has to mature as well, to face the world as it is.
  • However, not everything revolves around Auggie. There are other people whose lives get affected, too.

Acting & performance

  • Trembley was very happy with Chbosky because things were kept really fun although some kids were sometimes very difficult.
