Visa issues for visitors to Belarus

In the Republic of Belarus, the following

types of entry visas are provided:

  • B – transit visa, valid for up to 2 days;
  • C – short-term visa, valid for up to 90 days;
  • D – long-term visa, valid for up to 1 year with the right to stay up to 90 days, unless otherwise stipulated by the international agreements of the Republic of Belarus.

Documents needed for getting a visa

  1. one copy of a duly completed visa application form;
  2. one photograph;
  3. a foreign travel document;
  4. visa support documents. For some residents of European countries such documents are not required. For example, Czech Republic, France, Finland, Greece, Denmark, Estonia.
  5. additional documents required
  6. (by request of the consular officer);
  7. medical insurance contract concluded with RUE“Belgosstrakh“or“Beleximgarant“or medical insurance contract concluded with any foreign insurance organization;
  8. a confirmation of the consular fee paid

The photograph must meet the following requirements:

  • taken within the last 6 months;
  • in color;
  • professionally printed in high quality on photo paper;
  • 45 mm high by 35 mm wide;
  • in sharp focus and clear;
  • taken on plain, light and evenly lit background;
  • taken in full-face view directly facing the camera;
  • with a neutral facial expression and both eyes open;
  • with no shadows, glare, noise or distortion on the image or background;
  • sized such that the face takes 70–80% of the photograph;
  • with no ink marks, tears or creases;
  • must not be retouched.

PLANE

TRAIN

In Belarus, a wonderful international railway traffic. Come to Minsk by train from almost every major city in Europe and the CIS.The railway station of Minsk - one of the largest in Europe. It works around the clock and offers a wide range of services.

CAR

You can come to Belarus by car - the country's extensive network of highways. Crossing the border you have to through any of the border crossing points.

For driving in Belarus you will need an international driving license. Movement right hand.

BUS

Most international bus services in Belarus arrive at the central bus station of Minsk.Bus in Belarus - is the cheapest form of transport, which allows you to travel to this area very low cost, so you should pay close attention to this when planning a trip to Europe.
