What is Climate Change?
Definition: Climate Change is the change in weather over a long period of time. This change defines the earth's local, regional and global climates such as high and low temperatures, precipitation, and wind which is either caused from human activities or the earth itself.
Translate: El Cambio Climático es el cambio en el clima durante un largo período de tiempo. Este cambio define los climas locales, regionales y globales de la tierra, como las temperaturas altas y bajas, la precipitación y el viento, que son causados por las actividades humanas o por la propia tierra.

Responding to climate change effectively will involve a 2 tier approach.

Mitigation- reducing flow of greenhouse gases into atmosphere (this can be done through using solar panels, using renewable energy, wasting less food planting trees…etc
(Mitigación: reducir el flujo de gases de efecto invernadero a la atmósfera (esto se puede lograr mediante el uso de paneles solares, el uso de energía renovable, el desperdicio de menos alimentos, la plantación de árboles, etc.)
