  • Went to inspect and feed, but
  • all Bibb Center Hives absconded

    • Resource Hive
      • Very unlevel. Water on entrance board draining into the hive?
      • Need to solidify footing and level stand
      • Jane has hive to secure resources

    • Foam may have caused condensation inside
    • Not a lot of dead bees inside, so they made it out
    • Screened bottom board had weird stuff in the bottom

Club Hive Opportunities:�

  • Asking for 2-3 experienced beekeepers to assist Rudy in reviewing site, equipment needs, etc. Rudy will contact.
  • The Leadership Team is requesting approval to spend up to $600 on new bees
    • One NUC, One Package?
    • Swarms?
  • Will schedule monthly inspections and learning opportunities for new beekeepers
  • This spring, we may ask members to donate honey to the club to sell at the festival
