• Use matched sets of tubes​
• Check tubes for cracks​ and tightly seal all tubes​
• Ensure tubes are compatible with your solvent
• Balance weights across centrifuge
• Make sure lid is closed during operation​
• Always allow the centrifuge to come to a complete stop before opening

Avoiding Dangers

• Unbalanced and damaged centrifuges can break explosively
• Wear PPE (Safety Glasses)
• Do not leave a centrifuge until it is running at full speed safely
• Stop centrifuge if machine is shaking or making unusual noises
• ALWAYS make sure your centrifuge is balanced
