Practice

• California Trail Middle School – 13775 W 133^rd St, Overland Park, KS 66062 (Potential to add west practice location)
• Begins week of March 2^nd (this week time adjusted for daylight)
• Ends week of May 4^th
• 1^st – 4^th Grade
• Tuesday/Thursday
• 6:00pm – 7:00pm
• 5^th – 8^th Grade
• Monday/Wednesday
• 5:45pm – 7:00pm
• Wear a jersey to practice
• Be ready to start practice on time
• For weather cancellations, a decision will be made no later than 4:30pm
• Practices will be loaded in TeamSnap soon
• Download the app and turn on notifications

Games

• 8 regular season games
• Begins late March
• Saturdays & Sundays
• Double headers are possible
• Home games – Blue Valley Northwest HS: 13260 Switzer, Overland Park, KS 66213
• Away games – Located around the KC Metro
• Arrive 30 minutes before game time if possible
• Postseason Tournament: May 9^th – 10^th
• Games will be loaded in TeamSnap when available

Philosophy

• Lacrosse is fun
• We are the rec league
• We exist to create opportunities for players to learn and enjoy the game
• Coaches do their best to ensure players play the half the game
• Practice is focused on skill development and becoming better all-around lacrosse players using high energy drills and small area games
• Emphasis on teamwork and being a good teammate
• Making mistakes at full speed is better than trying to be perfect
