Weekly Phonograms: f, g, s, qu and review previous phonograms o, c, a, and d.
We are working on phonograms that begin at 2 on the clock. When students form these letters help them to think about 2 on the clock. They should form them going up and around in the direction of the 10. A clockface card may be helpful. Please make sure that your child is practicing correct formation. This may involve you helping them hand over hand until they get the motion. See the Spalding Resources section on the website for more information.
In math we are working on numbers 1-10. Your child should be able to count objects, write the numeral, and find the number. They should also be able to put the numbers in order.
