• Latitude

A measure of how far you are located from the equator

• Altitude

A measure of how high above sea level you are

• Prevailing wind

The direction from which the wind normally blows

• Hurricane

A massive storm system that forms over warm ocean water

• Tornado

A rapidly rotating column of air that is in contact with the surface of the air and a cloud

• Seasons

Periods of the year marked by specific weather conditions

• Microclimate

The climate of a very small or restricted area.

• All rain is caused by warm moist air rising and then cooling and condensing and forming clouds there has to be a reason for the air to rise.
• Relief rain (high land causes the air to rise)
