A rapidly rotating column of air that is in contact with the surface of the air and a cloud

The climate of a very small or restricted area.

Different types of rain

  • All rain is caused by warm moist air rising and then cooling and condensing and forming clouds there has to be a reason for the air to rise.
  • Relief rain (high land causes the air to rise)

  • Frontal rain (warm air rises above cold)

  • Convectional rain (warm ground)
