ARMY EMERGENCY RELIEF – a non-profit organization which provides emergency no interest loans and grants to Active-Duty Service Members, Family Members and Retirees in financial crisis. DEPLOYMENT READINESS – provides unit Soldier & Family Readiness Group (SFRG) training. Provides deployment cycle support and coordinates the Emergency Family Assistance Center (EFAC) in the event of a natural or man-made disaster. All classes are available virtually or in person. 706-791-3880.

EMPLOYMENT READINESS – provides employment assisted to include resume classes, interviewing skills. Offers a monthly “10 Steps to a Federal Job” classes, career counseling, and an employment resource library. 706-791-0368.

EXCEPTIONAL FAMILY MEMBER PROGRAM (EFMP) – assists with respite care, advocacy, coordinates monthly support groups, and recreational and cultural activities. A Systems Navigator will help with PCS coordination and transitions.

FAMILY ADVOCACY PROGRAM – provides Command and troop education, child/domestic abuse prevention programs and services, the New Parent Support Program (NPSP), emergency shelter for DV victims, 24-hour domestic violence assistance and community awareness resources. 24/7 Domestic Violence Victim Advocacy Hotline number is 706-791-7867.

FINANCIAL READINESS provides comprehensive Common Military Training educational and counseling programs for personal finances on indebtedness, consumer advocacy and protection, money management, credit, financial planning, insurance, Thrift Savings Plans, and the Blended Retirement System.

INFORMATION, REFERRAL AND FOLLOW-UP – provides Service Members and Families with timely, comprehensive information on military and community resources that will assist in meeting basic needs and improving quality of life.

RELOCATION READINESS pre/post move preparation, planning information and awareness training, destination information, and awareness training. Provides guidance on cultural adaptation, sponsorship support, provides a computer lab and lending closet for in and out-processing personnel.

SURVIVOR OUTREACH SERVICES coordinates remembrance events, support groups and life skills education, and connects survivors with referral resources to other agencies as needed.

MILITARY FAMILY LIFE COUNSELOR certified family life counselors provide service members and their families free, confidential, non-medical, face-to-face counseling services on and off the installation. Counselors also provide unit briefings and presentations to the community. 706-877-0979.
