NEW DISTRICT 2 ALIGNMENT FOCUS

    • Purpose: Coming together as one district family to become a stronger district
    • Committee: Representation across all new District 2 divisions to review and combine 13 divisions across the geographies into one collective district with 9 divisions per Toastmasters Protocol 7.0
    • Benefits of the newly blended District 2:
      • Stronger pool of leaders across the district to serve our members
        • Larger pool of past International Presidents, International Directors, and Region Advisors in one district
      • Larger Toastmasters family to learn and grow with other members

    • Construct a plan that serves the clubs in the most efficient way possible while meeting Toastmasters International policy requirements referenced in Protocol 7.0

DISTRICT ALIGNMENT CONSIDERATIONS

    • No more than nine (9) Divisions in a District
    • At least four (4) Areas per Division
    • No fewer than four (4) clubs in good standing and no more than six (6) per Area
    • Geographic proximity to other clubs
      • Consideration for driving distance and time
    • Area Director effectively provide service, without requiring for the clubs to change how meetings are conducted to accommodate an Area Director visit
    • Potential loss of clubs in Areas and Divisions
    • Club size and strength
    • Prospective clubs and expected growth
    • Low and ineligible clubs must be included
    • Advanced clubs may not be segregated into Areas
    • Areas cannot be segregated by club type
