If you do not yet have a Figma account registered to your UNC e-mail address, go ahead and register for an account. (Figma.com: Click Get started for free.)

(Starting with a basic free account should be fine for now.)

Figma Follow Along

  1. One member of your team create a New Design File
  2. Rename it from Untitled to COMP423 - Epic Design
  3. Top Right > SHARE Button > Add your teammates' email addresses�
  4. Left Hand Sidebar:
    1. One Page per Story - Rename the Page to be the brief story description.
    2. One Frame per Step in Story (set Frame Dimensions to Desktop/Wireframe 1440x1024). Name your frames!�
  5. Tips:
    • Start by creating a page that has Starter Frame(s) which serve as templates you can copy
    • Be careful to select the Frame you are working in before adding shapes to it
    • Add text to your wireframes where it is relevant to your feature's needs

Exporting for Today's Attendance (and the Epic Writeup)

  • Select All Frames in your #1 story�
  • Scroll down on right-hand sidebar to Export section�
  • Select Export N Layers as PNG�
  • Open the downloaded zip file, extract images, upload the individual images as a submission for your team. Add your teammates to the submission!�
  • Keep working on your Epic Stories doc toward this weekend's submission.
