What?

  • Anyone who volunteers for a MAGFest event has the potential to possibly interact with a contracted Guest during the course of their duties.
  • We wanted to help alleviate some of the anxiety that comes with interacting with Guests
  • We have created a short document available to the entire org that aims to provide heavily suggested do’s and don'ts for such interactions

Don’ts

  • Leaking Guest Info/Gossip
  • Making requests of a Guest outside of what’s necessary
    • Autographs, doing a voice, etc.
  • Taking photo/video without permission
  • Requesting personal contact info or professional favors
  • Impeding Guest Movement/Physical Contact

Do

  • Be respectful and professional
  • Have positive conversation:
    • How is the event going?
    • How did your content go?
    • Most casual conversation that isn’t too personal or inappropriate
  • Inquire if you may be of assistance
