STUDENT AID INDEX (SAI)

Review your confirmation email to ensure there are no errors.

Student aid index is calculated using the information you provided on the FAFSA form to determine need-based aid.

College offer letters will be sent March-May

After submission

Email will contain estimated aid for Federal Pell Grants and Student Aid Index. Remember they are estimates and not the final figures.

Once processed: you can access your FAFSA Submission Summary.

FAFSA SUBMISSION SUMMARY

It includes your estimated eligibility for a Federal Pell Grant and federal student loans, your Student Aid Index (SAI), and whether you’ve been selected for verification.

Scott Scholars Program

Scott’s Scholars Program - The Dr. Stephen C. Scott Scholars Program is a merit-based scholarship program designed to provide full-time Wake Tech students with an opportunity to pursue studies and participate in a leadership development program at the college. ��A college-issued laptop (if desired) to use while enrolled at Wake Tech and participating in the Scott Scholars program

A mentor at Wake Tech who serves as an advocate, providing guidance and opportunities for leadership development

A paid internship at a business related to the student's program of study or at a nonprofit community organization

The opportunity to participate in a student-centered leadership development or other relevant professional development opportunities during the academic year

A one-on-one meeting with President Emeritus Scott up to twice a year to discuss leadership, vision and community

Opportunities to participate in special events and projects as designated by the program administrator and/or recommended by the student’s mentor��Current Wake Tech students or Career & College Promise students who have completed 12 credit hours of college-level coursework

Wake Tech GPA of 3.30 or higher and significant accomplishments and achievements

Demonstrated community service work

Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities

Student Government Association offers tuition reimbursement for students who participate in the government association.

Athletes who participate in WTCC sports may be eligible for athletic scholarships! Speak to the Athletic recruiting team for more information.

Wake Tech Foundation Application is available for both new and returning students beginning on March 1^st which will review you for 50+ scholarship oppotuntities.
