Future Ready PA and Assessments

Future Ready PA

Nothing major has changed as of yet - still operating under May 5 Guidelines from Matt Stem.

Click HERE to link to those Guidelines

Assessments & DRC

DRC stated that Precode labels for the Spring make-up assessments were due at the end of July , but if a school did decide to give the Spring make-ups in September after the July due date then they would have to order them starting September 14. They wouldn't have labels so schools would have to bubble them in.

DRC said that PA schools are about 50/50 in giving the assessments in Sept vs. Dec. It is still a local decision as to when they want to give it. Thanks to Jenny and Brian St for helping with info.

Submission Tips and Tricks

Currently, only the Superintendent/CEO/Executive Director can do the final submission of Comprehensive Plans. There are a number of things to check to make sure the Superintendent/CEO/Executive Director is able to sign-off.

  • The Superintendent/CEO/Executive Director must have only 1 role assigned in MyPDESuite, localuseradmin, at the LEA level (branch code 0000). If he/she has more than one role the others need to be deleted.
  • In the FRCPP, the Superintendent/CEO/Executive Director needs to have the following roles assigned to him/her: Viewer, Writer, Sign-off, and Submitter.
  • The email address for the Superintendent,Executive Director on the Profile page under the "Ready" section of the plan needs to be an exact match to his/her email address listed in MyPDESuite. If it is misspelled in any way or if something is capitalized that shouldn’t be, it will not allow for sign-off to occur.

  • The Board minutes or affirmation statement need to be uploaded prior to the Superintendent or Executive Director completing the sign-off.
  • Clear the cache of the web browser prior to launching the portal. This helps clear any trailing data that may have developed.
  • Try Internet Explorer as your browser.
