WHAT THE FOCDA?
FOCDA = Friends = Booster Club
What is FOCDA → Fundraising and Events
If you're a parent or caregiver of a child at CDA, you are automatically part of the Friends of Coeur d’Alene Booster Club (often called "The Booster Club"). We are a nonprofit committed to supporting the academic achievement and enrichment of all students at CDA via our community events, fundraising, and volunteerism.
Who is FOCDA → Everyone!
We believe everyone at CDA has the right and privilege to help make our school community better. We know that everyone supports our school community in different ways—and we’re grateful for whatever you’re able to give, whether it’s your time, talents, or resources.
We recommend a minimum of 2 hours a month to actively engage in our community. If your schedule doesn’t allow for this, we invite you to consider making an optional monetary donation in lieu of volunteer hours. Your contribution will help ensure a great experience for our students.
FOCDA CODE OF CONDUCT
(Can be found on our website under : Friends of CDA> Code of Conduct)
RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
Please adhere to these agreements (and code of conduct) for all meetings:
If you are in agreement, say “I”. (or raise your hand)
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we create a safe environment for all voices and ideas to be shared.
