Submitting WeVideo Projects through Google Classroom

  • Create an Assignment in Google Classroom

In order to have students submit a WeVideo project through Google Classroom, you must create an Assignment in Google Classroom, and must include a due date for the assignment.

Set a due date

Assign the task

  • Students Finish the project

Students will need to “Finish” their project in WeVideo before being able to submit.

Give the project a title and set the quality

Click the Finish tab

Click Finish

Don’t wait for the video to process

Videos can take a bit of time to process. Don’t wait for it. Students can close WeVideo and come back to check on it later.

This video is being processed. You can wait, but you don’t have to. You don’t even need to keep the tab open. Close it and come back later.

  • Find the Finished video

Once processed, finished videos appear in the Videos tab. Double-click to open it.

  • Submit the video to Google Classroom

Click the Google Classroom icon

  • Submit the video to Google Classroom

Select the appropriate class from the list

Select the assignment created in Step #1

Click Go

  • Submit the video to Google Classroom

Click Attach

Click View Assignment

  • Submit the video to Google Classroom

Turn in the assignment

  • View the students’ videos

To view the videos, be sure you’re signed into WeVideo. Then access the videos from the assignment in Google Classroom. Clicking the links will allow you to open the videos.

If you see You do not have access to view this media when accessing student submissions, you are not signed into WeVideo. Sign in and then reload the tab.
