Basic Navigation

  • The Talent Stacker App Home Page shows information about the Program KPIs, a place to collaborate with other users, and the tasks assigned to the user signed in
  • The tabs at the top of the page show the various Objects that store individual record information based on the type of data
  • For example, the Members object houses all the records that contains information about the Member such as demographics, status in program, etc.
  • There are buttons in the upper right hand corner of the page that act as shortcuts to certain actions

Record Layout Overview

  • Lightning App Builder was utilized to create a custom App called “Talent Stacker” for Talent Stacker End-Users to access for all their needs

  • We configured all the record pages of each Object consistently with the same layout design

  • Each Record page has a Highlights Panel containing the most important fields, a Related List Quick Links, the Activity and Chatter feed, and the Detail and Related Tabs

  • Dynamic Forms were utilized during configuration to streamline and customize the record pages

Members Object Overview

  • The Member record “Highlight Panel” captures important information such as their email, membership join date, whether they are certified, if they landed a job, if they are at risk, etc.
  • The “Path” is a visual indicator of their progress in the program
  • The banner message is a message that is auto populated when certain fields meet entry criteria. This helps to alert the user when the member hits a specific milestone or needs follow-up in a specific area

Member (Contact) Record

  • The Members record contains details and all relevant information about the Talent Stacker member such as demographics, status in the program, and whether they landed a job

  • This tab is where the Users can go in to edit, update, and delete Member data

  • A lot of the Member record data is being tracked and is instrumental during data analysis when Reports and Dashboards are created

Email-to-Case

  • This powerful feature helps customize the way Salesforce converts customer emails to cases

  • We configured a routing address that our customers can use to submit cases to the support team

  • Emails automatically convert to cases based on the routing addresses settings

Web-to-Lead Form

To access the full Loom video of the walkthrough, please go to this link

  • The Web-to-Lead form is a powerful Salesforce feature that can be generated and hosted on any website

  • The main purpose is to have End Users entering requested information on the form so it can automatically generate a new Lead record in the Salesforce org on the back end with the matching mapped fields of data

  • In our client’s business use case, people who are interested in joining the Talent Stacker Career Development Program can submit an interest form online and the Talent Stacker team can follow up with these candidates with more information about the program

Lead Conversion

To access the Scribe document for detailed step-by-step instruction, please go to this link

  • When a Lead is qualified and ready to Convert, the Lead goes through the Conversion process

  • A standard use case example would be when a Potential Member is ready to commit to the Talent Stacker Program and pays the program fee, then the Talent Stacker Admin converts the Potential Member record to a Member record since they are now officially a part of the program

PDF Generation

To access the Scribe instructional document, please go to this link

  • Via a 3rd party AppExchange App called S-Docs, we are able to generate a PDF with fields of data that show the Member’s “Progress Report” in the Talent Stacker Program

  • The User Interface is very easy and intuitive to use

  • From a Members record, you can click the “S-Docs” action button and get guided through the process of emailing the generated PDF as an attachment to various stakeholders

  • The ultimate goal of this is to easily share a snapshot of the individual Members’ status and achievements in the program

Automated features and Flows

Salesforce Flows, from a user's perspective, can be seen as a streamlined path that guides you through a series of steps to accomplish a specific task in the Salesforce system. You might interact with a flow that asks you certain questions or prompts you to input specific information. Based on your inputs, it takes you through a sequence of screens, helping you complete tasks or get information that you need.

So, imagine you're using Salesforce to manage customer relationships. Instead of searching around for different pieces of information and trying to remember what to do next, the Flow guides you step-by-step. It might prompt you to enter customer details, then guide you to record a new sale, then perhaps it automatically schedules a follow-up task for you.

This way, Salesforce Flows helps simplify complex processes, making your experience with Salesforce smoother and more intuitive.

Reports

Creating reports allows for the end user to group elements to easily understand and interpret data. We create reports to see what States new users were coming from, which users have completed experience projects, and which members seem to be idle within the program process.

21 of 24

Dashboards

Dashboards allow for end users to view members who have earned significant milestones throughout the program, members who need to be followed up on, and more based on data collected through reports. This quick at a glance feature helps ensure that members are moving along within the program and are happy with the Talent Stacker program.
