The Goals
���Following the story of “The Jungle Book” employees will join Mowgli, a boy raised by wolved on a journey through the jungle full of stress and dangers, including Shere Khan the tiger. They will help Mowgli reach the man village where peace and security await him. Along the way they will interact with his animal friends, exploring techniques to handle stress in healthy ways then applying them to real life scenarios. This will be reinforced year -round with monthly support and engagement opportunities and competition for King of the Jungle Status.

We will appeal to this motivation by presenting the current state and consequences of stress, and the benefits of dealing with it in healthy ways with a kick –off video message from the CEO. All assessments and activities will include opportunities to review and succeed, and team competition will be based primarily on participation, not “right answers”

We will appeal to this motivation by providing links to addiontal content, topics to explore in any order in which they choose, and surprise discoveries within the e-learning portion

Part Meet Mowgli and his rival Sher Kahn. Begin the journey with Mowgli to the man village and stop along the way to talk to animal friends who introduce stress reduction techniques

Part II
Help Mowgli in the final stretch of his journey by applying stress techniques in modern day scenario choices. Applying healthy choices to stress management moves him forward in the journey, unhealthy answers cause him to fall into danger. Getting Mowgli to the man village will reward players with a beautiful waterfall scene personalized congratulations on the screen and points towards “King of the Jungle” status

Jungle Journals: Provide choice of graphically themed paper journal or on-line template for a daily stress level journaling, including spots for rating stress level, triggers and responses.
Posters: Graphically themed Posters featuring techniques & tips posted in common areas of each location
Expand on existing intranet page with Bi-weekly graphically themed e-mail blasts that offer deeper dives into stress management topics open discussion board thread and link to Healthy U programs
Dialogue
Add an employee self assessment stress level (1-10) to 1/1 meetings with managers and coach managers on discussing stress responses with employees
Include dialogue on current stress levels at all weekly core team meetings
Recognition
Points can be earned from the completion of e-learning and various activities tracked through stress management intranet page including daily journaling check-in, completion of Healthy U challenges or posting in discussion thread
Top teams will be recognized publicly in meetings and on the intranet as “King of the Jungle”
Healthy U– the details
Leverage existing program
We have already contracted with Healthy U to improve employee health and reduce insurance costs making this a cost- effective tool to provide support
Challenges
Set up friendly competitions between teams to complete Healthy U stress management challenges. Winning teams will be recognized with a small jungle themes swag (e.g. tiger stiped foam stress balls) and points assigned towards King of the Jungle Status. Participation will also count towards any existing incentives built into Healthy U such as HSA contributions or gift card drawings.
Coaching
Employees have access to personal coaching in the area of stress management. Promote the program in the bi-weekly e-mails. Assign points towards King of the Jungle status for completing the program and ask for testimonies from participants. Participation will also count towards any existing incentives built into Healthy U.
This time next year we expect an engaged workforce who navigate the jungle of stress successfully by applying new techniques, allowing them to perform in work at higher levels of innovation and creativity than the current state.
