Walk the Triangle

What will the performance assessment consist of:

1 - Your group will be given a fan cart and a constant velocity cart to take data on.

2 - The carts will be taken back.

3 - You will be given a scenario (initial conditions like where the two carts start at, what direction they are going, and what fan speed your fan cart is set to).

4 - You will need to make a prediction (for each corner of the triangle) that is, put a sheet of paper down on the floor where the carts will collide, then produce a graph in Desmos, then code into a spreadsheet the mathematical equations that determine the collision point (i.e. the solution to the intersection).

5 - You will be given the carts back and you will test your prediction -- your fate is in your hands.
