Let us recite the poem ……

Where do all the teachers goWhen it’s four o’clock?Do they live in housesAnd do they wash their socks?

Do they wear pyjamasAnd do they watch TV?And do they pick their nosesThe same as you and me?

Do they live with other peopleHave they mums and dads? And were they ever childrenAnd were they ever bad?

Did they ever, never spell rightDid they ever make mistakes? Were they punished in the cornerIf they pinched the chocolate flakes?

Did they ever lose their hymn booksDid they ever leave their greens?Did they scribble on the desk topsDid they wear old dirty jeans?

I’ll follow one back home todayI’ll find out what they doThen I’ll put it in a poemThat they can read to you.

Stanza Five:

Did they ever lose their hymn books

Did they ever leave their greens?

Did they scribble on the desk tops

The tender mind is also bothered to know if their teachers also ever lost their religious books and said no to green vegetables. Did they also waste time by scribbling on tables and wear torn and old jeans.

Stanza Six :

I’ll follow one back home todayI’ll find out what they doThen I’ll put it in a poemThat they can read to you.
