What do we do with this data?

  • Assess programming and curriculum to ensure alignment with grade level standards
  • Provide appropriate grade level curriculum to all students
  • Look for ways to expand and support intervention systems in both schools to target specific skills areas
  • Identify critical need curricular areas in the subgroups to address gaps
  • Provide detailed content reports to teachers to assess trends and gaps in skill areas

Successes

  • Our students consistently performed higher than the state average in most areas
  • Participation was greater than 98 percent this school year. We had 389 students registered for testing from Grades 3-8.
  • Most student groups demonstrated improvement from 21-22 to 22-23
  • The rate of students taking and passing the Algebra I NJSLA exam doubled from 21-22 to 22-23
  • Programs such as Special Education and ELL continue to expand to provide access to supports for students
