What is LC Vision and Why Should You Care?

LC Vision advocates for a Linear Collider as the world’s next collider.

  • Less expensive than the FCC (probably)
  • Ready to be built today
  • Can reach the TeV scale
  • Does not commit the HEP community to FCC-hh timeline (2070?) or cost ($50B?)

LC Vision will submit multiple documents to ESPPU

  • LC Physics Case and Long Term Plans
  • Linear Collider Facility at CERN

Advanced Accelerator Technology will be highlighted by the LC Vision document.

  • We can support LC Vision by explaining how Wakefield Accelerators can extend a future LC to the multi-TeV scale.
  • LC Vision supports the AAC community by highlighting the R&D and facilities needed to upgrade a future collider.
