Apply for a Substitute Authorization Certificate through the Board of Educational Examiners http://www.boee.iowa.gov/
($75 application fee)
Complete a BOEE Background Check (valid for 3 years)
*You must START your application in order to begin the Background Check process ($85 fee)
Upload your official transcripts as part of the application process
Upload your Substitute Authorization Certificate (GHAEA transcript) as part of your application process
