Tiny Architect

<four lessons>

This activity is inspired by internationally acclaimed Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto and his whimsical Architecture is Everywhere series – featuring small-scale human figures next to ordinary, everyday objects.

1. Using the everyday objects from your Mood Board you are to use Sketchup or Photography to create THREE RELATED FORMS that enclose space to various degrees:

  • closed
  • semi-open
  • open

(Each sculpture must include a figure to show scale)

  1. Document the THREE FORMS with a set of photographs or Screen dumps.
