I will lead this session in a break out room today including a practice prose and poetry session.

5 passages falling into 4 broad categories:
pre-20th century poetry modern poetry
pre-20th century prose modern prose
55 questions: 10 - 12 questions per passage
You will average about 12 minutes per passage
You can only move forward on the digital exam
Weighting of MC Exam Questions
Things to Remember:
All questions are weighted the same so do not stress or spend too much time on one question
Read three lines above and below a referenced line for context
Answer the question in your head before you look at the choices and see if your answer aligns with one of the choices
If you don’t know, narrow to two best choices and choose the one that best aligns with other answers
If one part of the answer is wrong, the entire answer is wrong
All answers should work together
