Academic Team

A high school "trivia" club that competes against other area schools. Matches are held at Cincinnati State on Mondays after school starting in November and ending in early March. Trivia topics include Pop Culture, Math, Fine Arts, Science, Government,

Literature and History.

Practices are held once a week in Room 103 at lunchtime.

Tabletop Gaming

All are welcome, no experience necessary, Learn to play a variety of classic and new tabletop games and RPGs. We will provide everything you need to jump into dozens of games.

Literary Magazine

Finneytown's student-generated Literary & Arts Magazine dedicated to highlighting student work. Join the editing and production teams that will select and showcase poetry, short fiction, non-fiction, and visual arts from Secondary Campus student submissions.

Community Gardening Club

If you are interested in the outdoors, advocating for the environment, partaking in community service efforts, or gardening and harvesting crops, the Community Gardening club will fuel your passion! This club has improved our local garden (located right on the Secondary Campus) with major restoration projects, educational services and sustainable efforts — which everyone can partake in. The garden is a safe space and it is easy to get involved.

National Honor Society

Members of the National Honor Society (NHS) embody Finneytown’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Members plan community service activities and also help facilitate community events throughout the district.

In September, all Junior and Senior students with a 3.5 weighted GPA or higher will be invited to complete the application in order to join. Meetings are held bi-monthly in room 203.

High School Yearbook Committee

Hone your journalistic skills, add a section to your college application, and have fun in yearbook club this year! High school students can help to select and format photos, write and copy edit, and design this year’s book.

Poetry Club

Workshops for students interested in writing and performance of poetry. Weekly meeting open to all students. The club sponsors on campus open mics and poetry slams and opportunities to join local and regional competition.

Middle School Disc Golf Club

Interested in becoming a Finneytown Flying Frog? This club is for middle schoolers with a positive attitude and strong work ethic looking to learn about the stupendous sport of disc golf! Limited spots are available for this club, must maintain above a C average in all classes to be a member.
