Object marking particles -을/를

  • Grammatically ‘proper’ to use but frequently omitted in verbal communication (non-honorific & honorific informal)
  • Accentuates the object
  • Marks the object of the sentence�e.g. I’m making lunch. �→ 저는 점심 만들어요. �→ in conversation, 저는 점심 만들어요, unless you want to emphasise that you’re making ‘lunch’ (vs. dinner or breakfast)
